[edit] Information

For a century we've known the T-Rex as the King of Dinosaurs the largest meat-eater to ever walk the Earth. But two new dinosaur discoveries may change that forever. Beyond T-Rex goes from the American West to Patagonia to reveal these magnificent specimens of terrifying monsters, and answers the questions these fossils raise about the lifestyle, behaviour and evolution of these giant killer dinosaurs. Beyond T-Rex visits the sites of current excavations of Gigantosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus, and re-creates their world with state-of-the-art stop action animation. Scientists include Dr. Rodolfo Coria whose recent discovery of Gigantosaurus is dubbed "the giant reptile of the south."
