[edit] Information

A Hibakushas Journey 91-year-old Sunao Tsuboi is a hibakusha, or atomic bomb survivor, from Hiroshima Prefecture. His postwar journey has taken him from all-consuming anger and an attempted suicide to reconciliation and activism in the name of peace. On this program, we trace Tsuboi's transformation and explore the latest chapter in his remarkable life - a meeting with the president of the United States, the country that dropped the bomb, and the launch of a grass-roots campaign aimed at ridding the world of nuclear weapons.
