[edit] Information

Antiques Roadshow: Christmas Special Fiona Bruce introduces a festive edition from Lyme Park in Cheshire. Along with expert Will Farmer, she unwraps presents from Christmas past as they explore the changing taste in toys given as presents, going back to Edwardian days. Meanwhile, in the beautiful gardens, the team of experts meet over 2000 visitors bearing family treasures for valuation. Some precious objects boast impressive credentials, including a cup and saucer once owned by a queen, a pram believed to have been in use in Buckingham Palace and a dagger reputed to have been owned by Charles I. Adding to the seasonal atmosphere is a curiosity that celebrates the work of author Charles Dickens.
