Her appearance became a worldwide sensation that rocked the scientific community and ordinary citizens. Charming Dolly the sheep was born in July 1996 in Edinburgh's Roslin Institute as a result of its successful cloning from an adult cell. British scientists managed to do what many thought impossible, or simply fiction, giving a new impetus to the rapid development of genetic engineering. Now, the procedure is considered a promising tool for preserving endangered species. This film tells a fascinating story of the most famous sheep in the world.
