[edit] Information

Fly back in time with this nostalgic compilation of films from the 1960s! Look at Life was a regular British series of short documentary films of which over 500 were produced between 1959 and 1968 by the Special Features Division of the Rank Organisation. Shown in Odeon cinemas up and down the country in the 1960s, the films always preceded the main feature film that was being shown in the cinema that week. Undiscovered until now ROB CURLING presents six Look at Lifes from the Brooklands aircraft musuem, showing the aircraft industry as it was in the 1960s. Films included are AIR HOSTESS (1960), CONTROLLED LANDING (1961), CITY OF THE AIR (1963), FLYING TO WORK (1964), THE SPIRIT OF BROOKLANDS (1965) and THE BIG TAKE OFF (1967). Collection includes planes like AVRO 748, VC10, Beagle 206, Hawker Siddeley HS.125, Super VC10, BAC 111, Skyvan and Concorde 002 under construction.
