[edit] Information

My Big Fat Wedding follows The Big Day, a plus-size bridal boutique in Castleford, West Yorkshire. Brides to be come in all shapes and sizes, and nobody understands this better than Lucy and Paula, lifelong friends and owners of the specialist store. For some fuller-figured women, finding and wearing a dress can be tough after a lifetime of covering up - it's all eyes on them at the altar. Stocking gowns up to a size 32, and with bespoke options going bigger, The Big Day aims to give every bride the best possible day. This one-off film goes to Vegas as Sam ties the knot with Mark. There's also Gemma, whose body hang-ups originally made her call it all off with Kevin. The heart-warming stories also include Lauren, who after years of dieting and hiding underneath baggy clothes, has chosen to just be happy.
