Tale of a Forest is a film for the whole family about the unique Finnish forest with its colouful and diverse life. This documentary is an extensive, stunning look at the prosperous animal and plant life that makes its habitat in the extravagant forests of Northern Finland, and the obstacles both must conquer as the seasons alter. Side by side with the factual documentation the mythical dimension is conveyed in the narration with references to ancient legends and the pantheistic imagination of great authors.
