[edit] Information

Tizian, the great master of the venician school, played a mayor role on the evolution of european art. His talent as a portraitist and his great aptitude for characterization of humans layed ground to his fame at emperors and popes of the 16th century. Tizian, as shown in this documentary by Didier Baussy, wasn't only a masterful painter, but a successfull and ambitious businessman who indeviatingly went his way to glory and wealth. Baussy traces this artist on his long journeys to the courts of Venice, Rome, Madrid and Vienna.
