[edit] Information

A documentary detailing the restoration process of the landmark film Metropolis as well as the film's troubled history. From American Film Distributors making drastic edits to the film, to WWII in Europe, and finally the dangerous nature of nitrocellulose film. All converging against the historic film. Thankfully in 2008, a damaged print of Lang’s original cut of the film was found in a museum in Argentina. After a long restoration process, the film was 95% restored and shown on large screens in Berlin and Frankfurt simultaneously on 12 February 2010.

KarMa's Notes: This film 'Voyage to Metropolis' has an English narration and is slightly different than the original German film version 'Die Reise nach Metropolis'. History repeats again :).
