[edit] Information

It costs thousands of pounds a week to place vulnerable children in privately-run care homes - but how much care do they actually get, and where does the money go? In a year-long investigation, reporters for ITV’s Exposure strand have been undercover in homes that look after children in care. The child psychologist professor Tanya Byron tells the programme: "Because these children are invisible they have no voice and they deserve better. We have to do better."
