[edit] Information

Ian Paterson was adored by patients both in his private practice and in the NHS and they raised huge sums of money for his cancer clinic at a local private hospital. But Paterson was diagnosing cancer when there wasn't any and cutting them open for no reason and in 2017 he was jailed for 20 years on 17 counts of wounding with intent. Five years on, this film from Exposure strand talks to victims, fellow doctors and a key whistleblower to tell the extraordinary story of how the system allowed Paterson to perform unnecessary and damaging surgery on so many for so long.
