[edit] Information

Introduced in 1935, The Douglas DC3 airliner became the standard Allied troop transport and airborne freighter of World War Two. Always in the front line, the 'C-47' made history by delivering the paratroops who spear-headed the invasion of Europe in June 1944, D-Day. Using archive film, colour re-enactments and interviews Drop Zone takes you inside the C-47 for its finest hour to re-live the tension of the paratroopers as they prepare to jump into history's 'Longest Day'. -- All DVD Extras joined to the film --
