[edit] Information

The human drama found at controversial political hot-spots ranging from Israel-Palestinian territory checkpoints to the U.S.-Mexican border are captured by acclaimed photographer Larry Towell in Everybody Has a Soul. Towell's photographic prowess has earned him membership in the most prestigious photo agency in the world - Magnum - the only Canadian in the group. His subjects vary from family members captured in candid portraits to struggling communities in the Americas and the Middle East, from locations like Ground Zero in Manhattan to Mennonite farms in Mexico. Everybody Has a Soul paints a portrait of Towell through his photographic work and his frank opinions on life and the creative process. More than a war photographer, Towell considers himself a family photographer: some families, however, happen to live in a war context. Produced by Peripheria Productions in association with Bravo for CBC
