[edit] Information

The latest 'film and music' project of Tindersticks is a collage of the science films made in early 1900s by F. Percy Smith-naturalist, inventor and documentarist. It took three years to complete this nature documentary, poetic music video, or ode to science, which was scored by Tindersticks with Thomas Belhom and Christine Ott. The characters of Smith's black and white time-lapse films mostly shot under a microscope are spores, microbes, leaves, insects, and myriad mysteries of nature.
