Embedding in mid-winter with one of the busiest mountain rescue teams in the UK, Our Lives reveals the extraordinary characters who are the volunteers saving lives in the notorious Cairngorms. Willie Anderson, the team leader, has been on call 24/7 since 1978. Each year he and his 50-strong volunteer team respond to around 41 999 calls to save lives in the local mountains. Covering 2000 square miles of one Britain's wildest landscapes, battling blizzards, avalanche and 100mph windspeeds, it's a job for the toughest.
