The Worlds Most Beautiful Railway: Series 1 Scotland's rail network crosses a landscape voted the best in the world. This series follows the staff and enthusiasts safeguarding these iconic routes.

Two hundred lucky passengers board steam locomotive, Union of South Africa. There's a charity abseil from the Forth Bridge. A team of engineers scramble to erect the UK's largest landslide barrier.

The Flying Scotsman takes a tour of the railway it once called home as it returns to Edinburgh Waverley, where there is a very special treat waiting for one young steam enthusiast.

The show follows in Harry Potter's footsteps onboard the Jacobite steam train while YouTube sensations Geoff and Vicki head for the UK's highest train station.

Musician Hamish Napier celebrates the old Speyside. Haymarket station gets ready for the Spice Girls. And newly qualified conductor Sean joins his mum Angela on the job.
