[edit] Information

A wonderful adventure into the worlds of some of the best children's books written for primary aged children. The real and animated worlds collide to reveal the wonder that is contained within the pages of each book and the larger-than-life imaginations of the celebrity presenters as they explore the stories that they hold dear. Through the course of the series, we learn how these celebrities discovered these treasured books, what they mean to them and why they love to read. From madcap comedies like The Giggler Treatment, through to mystery capers such as The Demon Headmaster, via Roald Dahl's iconic George's Marvellous Medicine, the series touches on the huge range of reading experiences available to young people and encourages viewers to explore and develop their own taste in books.
