Frank Skinner and Denise Mina follow in the footsteps of Alexander Pope and Jonathan Swift, two of the most brilliant humorists in the history of literature. Chapter 1: Ian Hislop tells them how the two created satire that still influences writers today, before Frank and Denise explore the remains of Pope's grotto. Chapter 2: Frank and Denise discover how Alexander Pope became one of the leading poets of his age and find out how Jonathan Swift's political satire turned him into an Irish hero. Chapter 3: Frank Skinner and Denise Mina examine the glorious summer when Jonathan Swift returned to England to spend time with Alexander Pope, resulting in their literary classics Gulliver's Travels and The Dunciad.
