[edit] Information

Tells the story of how A Question of Sport has evolved but remained in the primetime schedule since it first hit the air in January 1970. This romp through the archives from the 1,200-plus episodes includes the show where over 19 million people tuned in to watch the Princess Royal line up alongside Emlyn Hughes. A stellar cast of guests give their memories of the programme through the days of David Vine, David Coleman and current host Sue Barker. We hear from Matt Dawson, Phil Tufnell, Sebastian Coe, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Paddy McGuinness, Dan Walker, Alan Shearer, Denise Lewis, Alex Scott, Ian Wright, Nick Knowles, Gary Lineker, Ally McCoist, Tim Henman, Gaby Logan, Richard Osman, Colin Jackson and many more. A lot has changed in fifty years, but what this documentary illustrates is that the love for this, the longest-running sports quiz show in the world, hasn't faded.
