[edit] Information

This highly interesting documentary film was especially made for full-time Mormon missionaries, showing how they can become more effective by improving their manners. This includes discussions on the power of credibility, building credibility, table manners, appearance and social skills, visual poise for sisters, care of clothing, cleaning the apartment, fitness and nutrition. None of the various actors in this film are credited but the director is Nanci Wudel who worked for several years as the Director of Etiquette and Personal Development at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. “Manners is much more than knowing which fork to use,” Wudel says. “It’s about how to present and conduct yourself in virtually any situation. As emissaries of Jesus Christ, our missionaries need to know how to relate to others, how to take care of basic hygiene - in other words, how to be their best selves in appearance and actions.” With this in mind, and at the suggestion of several Mormon mission presidents, Wudel wrote and produced this documentary film in 1994.
