[edit] Information

The Subject is more important than technique" - Magritte said about his astonishing paintings, where trains run through chimneys and fishes float in the sky.

The documentarian Adrian Maben is searching for places and ideas, that might have inspired this Belgian artist and finds some interesting sources. He visits Magritte's home in Brussels, that stayed unchanged since his death in 1967, presents interviews from the archive on this surrealist in his film and creates a portrait of one of the most popular and inventive artists of the 20th century.

This documentary has been awarded many times and won the International Film Festival in Paris.
