Antonio Pappano conducts the UK premiere of Benjamin Beckman's new work, Occidentalis and mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato sings Berlioz's beautifully crafted miniatures Les nuits d'été. The impressive programme culminates with Richard Strauss's epic work, An Alpine Symphony.
