Henry Cole leaves his Harley Davidson in the USA after riding Route 66 and climbs aboard the less romantic German produced 'MZ 1000' to embark on an epic 1500Km journey revealing the true delights and dangers of life on the roads of Eastern Europe.

[edit] Eastern Germany Part 1

In this first episode, Henry picks up his MZ motorcycle from the factory and sets off for the infamous Colditz Castle in Eastern Germany, before heading further east to the stunning city of Dresden.

In this episode, Henry explores the magnificent city of Dresden, cruises along the banks of the River Elb to the little town of Pirna, and stops off in the ancient town of Gorlitz on the German-Polish border.

In this episode, Henry crosses the border from Eastern Germany into Poland - first stop a Polish McDonalds! After getting lost in the Polish hinterland, he finally arrives in Wroclaw in time to experience the city's fantastic nightlife.

The 250km route to Prague is truly magical, winding its way through the mountains bordering Poland and the Czech Republic. From Prague Henry heads for a weird and wonderful monastery decorated in human bones in Kutna Hora on the way to the quaint medieval town of Jilhava.

Henry leaves the medieval town of Jilhava on his MZ motorcycle heading for Lednice, where he visits the Lichtenstein Palace. On the way to Bratislava in Slovakia he continues his quest for the extraordinary with a liaison in a forest with a Slovakian mushroom expert.

Henry makes it to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava and to the best hotel in town! After a few days exploring, he rides out of Bratislava to head for the Hungarian border and drops in on the city of Gyor for a spot of sightseeing.

In the final leg of his journey, Henry arrives in the Hungarian capital, Budapest - journey's end. There's plenty to reflect on as Henry takes a boat trip down the Danube, visits the world famous castle and eats in a Medieval themed restaurant.
