[edit] Information

In an exclusive interview, Russia's president Vladimir Putin discusses the biggest decisions he's faced as leader and where the country is headed. As a leading international figure, the Russian president Vladimir Putin generates huge interest around the world. In February 2014, he was voted the world's premier politician in a global news agency poll. In April 2015, Time magazine placed him at the top of the 100 most influential people in the world. This documentary offers a frank portrayal of Russia and its popular leader, in his own words. The film is dedicated to the 15th anniversary of Vladimir Putin's rule. The documentary covers the period from August 1999 to the present day. The film tells about the path that the country, together with the president, has traveled over the past 15 years. In the film, Russian President Vladimir Putin, answering questions from Vladimir Solovyov, talks about the events over the past fifteen years - the war in Chechnya and Dagestan, the sinking of the Kursk submarine, the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001 in the United States, the terrorist attacks on Dubrovka and in Beslan, Iraqi war, speeches by Vladimir Putin in 2007 in Munich, armed conflict in South Ossetia in 2008, economic crises of 2008 and 2014, opposition rallies in Bolotnaya Square and Sakharov Avenue, Euromaidan, the Olympics in Sochi, the annexation of Crimea to Russia and others. In addition to Putin's story about 15 years at the head of Russia, the film also includes interviews with representatives of the country's political and business elites, a documentary chronicle, and a unique footage of Vladimir Putin's personal cameramen. All this made it possible to recreate and reveal the details of the past, the turning points of big politics that decided the fate of the world, and tell about where the president is leading Russia today.
