[edit] Information

Looks the work of scientists trying to discover what causes falling rocks from collapsing mountains to "liquefy" and run for miles at the speed of an express train. Such landslides are surprisingly common but have only recently become a focus of interest for geologists, some of whom fear that tidal waves generated by a landslide of this nature could lead to disastrous coastal flooding.
