[edit] Information

A look back at the UK's hottest year on record, when three heatwaves in consecutive months meant the summer became a story of chaos as Britain's infrastructure went into meltdown. Devastating wildfires broke out in grasslands, farmland and gardens, while an official drought was declared after the driest July in 85 years and the heat ravaged large areas of the country. Featuring contributions from Clare Nasir, Simon Calder, Vanessa Feltz and Adam Henson.
