Thief Trackers Thief Trackers tells the story of what becomes of everyday possessions when they are stolen, and how police and members of the public use cutting-edge technology to fight back.

Hi-tech tracking technology reveals where stolen items are taken. A DVD player is stolen from a donation bag outside a London charity shop, and the tracking data reveals that the thief lives nearby. Plus a Lancashire smartphone thief is run to ground by a combination of the latest GPS tracking technology.

Hi-tech tracking technology reveals where stolen items are taken. When a young woman is robbed of her laptop, the tracker reveals its curious journey around London's theatre district. Plus the police explain how they caught a rogue scrap metal dealer as he chopped up stolen memorials.

Tracking technology reveals where stolen items are taken. Two bicycles stolen in London are traced to the East End, where one is seemingly sold to an innocent member of the public. Plus a Sunderland mother helps to convict the vendor of a stolen smartphone after buying it online for £300.

Tracking technology reveals where stolen items are taken. A smartphone is stolen outside a bustling city centre cafe and disappears into the backstreets of Soho. Plus a Bucks-based firm helps Interpol to smash a gang of thieves after a stolen motorbike is tracked from London to Lithuania.

Hi-tech tracking technology reveals where stolen items are taken. When a tablet computer is stolen and sold to an innocent member of the public, the search is on to recover it. Plus a Lancashire woman's tracking data helps to convict the thief stealing ornaments and toys from her son's grave.

A designer handbag is stolen from a restaurant and is tracked to flats in south London. Plus two have-a-go heroes explain the risks of tackling bicycle thieves face to face.

Startling footage reveals the techniques used by a devious female thief on the loose in London who steals handbags from the unwary. Meanwhile, West Midlands Police track down Birmingham's dimmest burglar, who committed break-ins after his release from prison wearing a GPS-based ankle tag.

A south London thief makes off with a camera, unaware that he's being tracked! Meanwhile, a police officer turned pet detective recovers a beloved family terrier stolen from outside a post office.

A gang of thieves steal a bicycle in broad daylight, unaware that the bike is being tracked! Meanwhile, police working at Southampton Docks arrive in the nick of time to prevent a stolen Range Rover being exported to Africa.
