[edit] Information

Antiques Roadshow: Walmer Castle 2 The Antiques Roadshow returns to Walmer Castle, near Deal in Kent, where treasures include a rare enamel racing car sign, an art deco mask that frightens its owner's children and a jacket worn by JFK that could be one of the most valuable items seen on the show in recent years. Ceramics specialist Fergus Gambon suspects that an empire-style vase with a Sevres factory mark isn't quite what it seems. There's a surprise for Clive Farahar when the owner of a letter said to be from Nelson reveals the contents of a small box with a profound connection to her late husband. Marc Allum is thrilled to see a collection of post-war Italian design classics, from red a plastic Valentine typewriter to a fold-up lamp that had a tendency to melt, while oriental specialist Lee Young is intrigued by two vases and a statue that belongs to a family who once ran a travelling circus.
