[edit] Information

Frank Skinner and Denise Mina hit the road again, in the company of another great literary double act – William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge. Frank adores the verse of Wordsworth and will focus on what made William tick. Denise, the creator of dark and haunting fiction concentrates on Coleridge, exploring what draws her to his unique and troubled imagination.

Wordsworth and Coleridge met in 1795 and were to create some of their greatest work together but their passionate friendship ended in bitter betrayal. The story of their complex relationship will be at the heart of this series which will give a unique insight to their creative process. Travelling from Bristol where they first met to Somerset and the Lake District where the pair lived and worked together, the series will also be a love letter to nature as Denise and Frank walk in their buckled shoes and discover the inspiration behind some of their most loved poems.
