[edit] Information

Ross Kemp Middle East In this two-part documentary, Ross Kemp examines the political situation in Israel and Gaza; a conflict which shapes our world yet remains largely misunderstood. For decades, the Middle East has been the centre of one of the world's most bitter conflicts, one that has cost tens of thousands of lives and forced millions to live in fear and misery. For more than half a century, world leaders have tried to forge a lasting peace between Israel and the Palestinians, yet today the prospects are as remote as ever.

[edit] Gaza

With unprecedented access to parties on all sides of the conflict, Kemp begins his journey in Gaza, where he meets some of the people behind the violence, and the communities caught in the crossfire. He also interviews John Ging, Director of Operations, Gaza, UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East to discuss how the situation in Gaza has intensified following Operation Cast Lead.

[edit] Israel

In the second of a two-part special, Ross Kemp travels to Israel to talk to local people and extremists about living in the region. Contains extreme views and distressing footage.
