The story of Thomas Picton - the soldier from Pembrokeshire who became the first governor of the island of Trinidad. The story begins in Gibraltar where he was a young soldier and finishes at Waterloo when he became a famous officer. But between the two there was a very dark period in the life of Thomas Picton.
