From Anglesey to Assam. Dylan Iorwerth travels from Delhi to Darjeeling and Assam, telling the story of Helen Rowlands, a linguist and teacher born in Anglesey, who founded a shelter for orphaned children and homeless widows in Assam. Becoming a missionary in 1916, Rowlands made it her goal to improve the lot of those struggling to survive at the bottom of India's caste system.
