Fifty-seven years after the famous battle, a team of experts is being readied to sail from Hawaii to search for the Japanese fleet, sunk by the US Navy during the Battle of Midway. A partnership of the US Navy, the University of Hawaii, NAUTICOS and Thomas Horton Associates locate and film the wrecks of these Japanese aircraft carriers. This is a story of historical significance dealing with the famous battle and with the modern technology needed to both find and film these great ships.
