[edit] Information

Taking its name from the Dreamtime serpent that created the rivers and waterholes of the Pilbara, the Warlu Way is a winding pathway through an incredible variety of Western Australian landscapes.

From the glorious sparkling wonderland of Ningaloo Marine Park with its colourful coral, abundant reef fish, and the incredible, awe-inspiring whale shark, it dips into the yawning chasms and gorges of Karijini National Park , whose walls glow ruby-red against a sapphire sky. It snakes into the cool sanctuary of Millstream-Chichester National Park and out to the Burrup Peninsula, where it pays homage to the tales and traces of ancient cultures and stories. It weaves through intriguing mining towns and alongside railways traveled by freight trains carrying WA’s rich resources into the future. It snakes up along the beautiful Eighty Mile Beach and comes to a rest in colourful, cosmopolitan Broome.
