[edit] Information

Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean fulfil a lifelong dream by travelling to Alaska to skate on natural ice, having only ever performed on artificially created rinks in their 45 years dancing together. Travelling by train and husky sled, they encounter first-hand the dramatic effects of climate change on the wilderness. Alaska's hottest year on record means there is not a lot of ice to be found, so Jayne and Chris's trek becomes a hunt, skating wherever they can hoping to find a magnificent natural setting to dance a special new version of their iconic Bolero. Narrated by Stephen Fry.
